Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location

  • Augusta, Georgia

Employment Type

  • Travel assignment
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit and Work Environment

  • Unit: Respiratory Therapy
  • Equipment used: Drager ventilators, Phillips V60 CPAPs, Arivo2 Hiflo
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Shift: Night shift including some weekends
  • Dress code: Maroon scrubs or facility scrubs

Requirements

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
  • Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year

Skills and Procedures

  • Advanced skills with ventilators, CPAPs, ABGs, and Hiflo devices
  • Procedures performed include ventilation management, CPAP administration, arterial blood gases (ABGs), and use of Hiflo equipment

  • Facility is a 354-bed hospital known for specialized centers including a nationally recognized burn center, Human Motion Institute, Digestive Disease Center, Pelvic Health Institute, and Stroke Center
