Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (1900-0730), options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

Provide care for low to moderate risk laboring patients, antepartum, postpartum patients, and their newborns.
Triage patients in triage rooms and perform maternal and newborn assessments.
Circulate and recover C-sections in OR suite and private rooms.
Floating within the hospital required; no floating to other hospitals.
Block scheduling accommodations not available.
Locals accepted.
Pending license accepted if application is submitted and received by licensing board.
Return to work restrictions: maximum 1 week.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
