Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Department: Occupational Therapy
- Facility Type: Acute Care
- Number of Beds: 420
- OT Staff Members: 46
- Shift: Day shift only (no night shift)
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 8 evaluations in 8 hours
- Equipment: Portable acute care equipment
- Documentation Systems: Meditech and Redoc
- Call Requirements: No on-call duties
- Dress Code: Gray scrubs
Typical Procedures
- Evaluations and treatments related to occupational therapy
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
- Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- OTR Certification
- BLS Certification
Preferences
- Previous acute care experience preferred but not required
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable functioning independently
Additional Information
- Facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, with Level 2 & 3 NICU, PICU, and a CARF Accredited 50-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
