Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Location: Bottineau, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday

Facility & Unit Details

• 48-bed facility
• Nurse staffing ratios: Typically 2 nurses per 48 residents (1 LPN on 12-hour shift and 1 certified medication aide on 10-hour shift), with 1 RN Unit Manager present during the day (8-10 hour shift)
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: PCC
• Common patient diagnoses include dementia, heart disease, COPD, chronic kidney disease (CKD), and depression

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in North Dakota
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Additional Information

• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• Backouts or quits with less than 14 days’ notice incur a $500 fee
• Weekend and holiday shifts are scheduled every other occurrence

• Local pay rates apply within 80 miles or if using employer housing (not included here)
• Shift options include 8- or 12-hour shifts, with this position specifically on 12-hour night shifts
