Surgical Tech – OB Tech

Location: Burien, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: OB Tech
• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts, mainly nights but may flex to days)
• Hours per week: 36 (Every Other Week schedule)
• Unit: 14 LDRP suites
• Typical cases per day: 1-3
• Call requirement: None
• Scrubs provided by department

Responsibilities

• Assist and attend vaginal deliveries, including setting up and breaking down delivery tables and equipment/supplies
• Assist in C-sections and maintain sterile technique in OR suites
• Stock equipment and supplies for LDRP and OR suites
• Perform daily unit checks
• Be available for emergencies or urgent situations as needed
• Support clerical activities such as answering phones and doors

Required Qualifications

• Washington state license required at time of application
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• C-section experience required

Orientation

• 2 full days (24 hours) of unit/department-specific orientation
• Orientation scheduled for nights but may flex to days
