Work Schedule

  • 10 hours per day
  • 40 hours per week
  • On-call clinical coverage required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as assigned

Job Summary

Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor, and treat conditions without surgery. Support includes cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist providers during procedures, acting as a scrub tech and maintaining a sterile field
  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide comfort
  • Operate and maintain specialized radiologic equipment following safety and quality standards
  • Transfer images and data to electronic health systems and document technical findings
  • Perform quality control, cleaning, and equipment maintenance per regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in quality assurance, audits, and performance improvement activities
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure exceptional patient care
  • Provide education and mentorship to students and new team members as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation aligned with departmental and accreditation standards

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of a post-secondary health science program, which may include cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT, as defined by ARRT or CCI

Certifications

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ARRT (RT), RCES, or RCIS certification

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • Prior travel experience (Level 1)
