Job Opportunity: Mammography Technologist

Location: West Chester Township, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Description

• Operate Hologic mammography equipment at all locations.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ARRT certification
• ARRT Mammography certificate

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Health Requirements:

  • MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or positive IGG titer; booster required if titer negative/equivocal.
  • Varicella: Proof of 2 vaccinations or positive IGG titer; booster required if titer negative/equivocal.
  • Hepatitis B: Series of 3 vaccinations, positive titer, or declination accepted.
  • TB Test: Completed within 30 days prior to start (QuantiFERON/T-Spot or 2-step skin test); if past positive, chest x-ray within 1 year plus updated questionnaire.
  • Physical/Health Statement: Within 1 year.
  • Influenza Vaccine: Optional but recommended during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31).
• Background and Screening:

  • Criminal background check completed within 90 days prior to start, including 7-year county and national checks, SSN trace, and sex offender registry.
  • 9-panel drug screen completed within 90 days prior to start (marijuana removed); must be repeated with any break in service.
• Documentation:

  • Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID (front side only).
  • Two professional references from a charge nurse or higher within the last 2 years.
  • Highest level of education verification (transcripts or third-party verification accepted).
  • Recent color badge photo (taken within last 6 months, no selfies or filters, solid background).
• Skills and Competency:

  • Current skills checklist completed within 12 months prior to start.
  • Internal competency checklist to be completed within 2 weeks after start.
• Compliance Training:

  • Annual compliance training module completed and certificate uploaded.
• Employment Eligibility:

  • I-9 E-Verify attestation required.

Additional Notes

• All required trainings and certifications must be uploaded together during onboarding.
• Instant criminal background searches are not allowed.
• Some health requirements cannot be declined if working with infants or expectant mothers.
• Flu vaccine exemptions require approval on a case-by-case basis.
