Description

Job Opportunity: CVICU RN

Location

  • Jacksonville, Florida

Unit Description

  • High acuity 30-bed ICU
  • Patient conditions include neurosurgery, open heart surgery, TVAR, septic shock, CRRT, Impella, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, pacemakers, advanced drip titration, chest tubes, and DKA

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift

  • 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (night shift)

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Florida
  • CVICU experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Ascension EPLS
  • Ascension EKG Exam
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
  • Must complete signed assignment agreement and confirmation documents
  • Some onboarding documents and checklists must be updated every 1-3 years depending on the requirement
  • Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leader within one week of start

This position is ideal for experienced CVICU RNs comfortable with complex critical care patients and advanced monitoring and interventions in a high-acuity ICU setting.
