Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Hermitage, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Unit: 5th Floor, Main Campus
• Number of Beds: 33
• Patient Ratios: 6:1 (days), 7:1 (nights)
• Staffing: 3 techs per shift, unit secretary on dayshift
• Equipment: IVs, Kangaroo pumps, Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs)
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling: Every other weekend required
• Floating Policy: Rotation to other appropriate areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS certification
• De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
