Physical Therapist (Outpatient) - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Stockton, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks (3 months)
Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (40 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP (flexible for later starts)
Schedule Notes: May include occasional weekend coverage and floating

Job Description

• Outpatient physical therapy role focused on therapy/rehabilitation.
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week minimum.
• Assignment length ranges from 13 to 26 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California
• Physical Therapist with 1 year of experience
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• Emergency contact form prior to start.
• Standard background checks including 7-year search, sex offender registry, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG checks (updated annually).
• State license primary source verification.
• Facility-specific compliance quiz on wage and hour laws.
• Annual skills checklist.
• National tech certification as applicable.

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Floating and occasional weekend shifts may be part of the assignment.
• New graduates are considered, but LTC/LTAC experience is preferred.
