Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN OR)
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: Nights only, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (40 hours/week; options include 8x5, 4x10, or 2x8 & 2x12 shifts)
Home Unit: Operating Room
EMR System: EPIC
Job Description
- Provide patient-centered nursing care in the Operating Room, including circulating and scrubbing for urgent, emergent, and STAT C-sections.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare team following ANA Standards of nursing practice (assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation).
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Rhode Island
- Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience, including experience within the last year
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Labor and Delivery experience
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records system
- Valid Driver's License
