Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PCU
Location: Howell, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Position Overview
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with specialty in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide direct patient care during day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Health and Safety Requirements
- Fit Test
- 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start, no THC)
- COVID-19 Vaccine (including booster by Sept 2025) or approved exemption/declination (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer
- Hepatitis B: At least first vaccination in series prior to start
- Influenza Vaccine: Optional but recommended (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB per state guidelines
- Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer
- Tdap: Current vaccine required; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction
- Physical/Health Statement: Documentation of fitness to work within the last year
- Respirator Evaluation: Physician-signed form required
Professional and Compliance Requirements
- Signed Code of Conduct form
- Confidentiality and System Security Agreement
- Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
- Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start)
- Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days
- OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
- Joint Commission CORE Exam within the last year
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days, including aliases and statewide checks for Michigan
- System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start
Additional Notes
- All required documents and verifications must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
- This is a day shift position with a 12.5-hour shift length.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
