Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Plano, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information
- Unit Type: Burn Trauma ICU
- Number of Beds: 30
- Number of Staff: 85
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 1 CNC/Relief Charge; RN and PCT numbers vary based on census
- Night Shift: 1 CNC/Relief Charge; RN and PCT numbers vary based on census
- Patient Ratios:
- ICU: 2:1
- PCU: 4:1
- Equipment: Critical Care Equipment, Burn ICU and Trauma ICU Technology
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), specifically Trauma and Burn ICU experience
- Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree
- CCRN certification
Typical Procedures Performed
- Wound care
- Codes (emergency response)
- External Ventricular Drains (EVDs)
- Massive Transfusion Protocol (MTP)
Work Environment & Culture
- Team-based atmosphere
- Encouraged to ask questions and offer help to others
- Floating Areas: MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any PCU unit
- Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per pay period
