Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Nights

Job Summary

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with professional nursing standards and organizational policies.
• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self and others under direction.
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to provide care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

• Candidates may request time off equivalent to 1 week of contracted hours, which can be taken as a single block or split into separate days.
• Orientation sessions are scheduled up to 6 weeks in advance; RN orientations occur every other week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Overtime starts after 48 hours worked.
• 24 hours unbillable.
• 1.5x pay for overtime, call back, and holidays.

• Located on a suburban campus with multiple medical office buildings nearby.
• Provides comprehensive care including primary care practices with extended and weekend hours.
• Offers medical care, counseling, and support for serious illness and hospice care.
