MRI Technologist (Temp) – Saginaw, MI

Position Summary

Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) on patients using highly technical Siemens equipment, including administering contrast materials as required. Additional duties may be assigned.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Afternoons
• Hours per day: 8
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare scan room and patient for examination
• Draw up and administer IV or oral contrast as needed
• Perform equipment warm-up and enter patient data and scan parameters
• Screen patients for contraindications and explain procedures
• Position patients appropriately and perform MRI scans using correct protocols and materials
• Ensure proper image orientation and order
• Prepare records and clinical information for radiologist review

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate Degree
• Active MRI certification through ARRT or AMRIT
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
