Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location
- Ottumwa, Iowa
Employment Type
- Travel contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Shift: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday
Unit and Patient Population
- Facility size: 75 beds
- Patient types: adults, geriatrics, neonatal and pediatric (including possible micro-premies to hospice)
- Equipment used: Vocsn Ventilators, V60 BiPAPs
- Float requirements: may be required to float within a 25-mile radius
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year
Onboarding Requirements
- Iowa SING background check clearance (criminal and child abuse portions required) – no exceptions
- All background checks (county and state) must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide searches are not accepted
- Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required
- Drug test: 10-panel screening including opiates
