Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Macon, Georgia

Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Contract Length: 10 weeks

Unit Details

• Surgical cases include general surgery, OB/GYN, plastic, ENT, ophthalmology, cardiovascular/thoracic, laparoscopic, urology, robotic, orthopedic (including totals), neuro/spine, bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flexible sigmoidoscopes.
• Weekend schedule: Every other weekend.
• Call requirement: 10-12 call shifts per 6-week schedule.
• Floating: May float within the facility and to a nearby hospital as needed, within scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CVOR Technologist within the last year.

Compliance and Orientation

• Full compliance with all documentation and credentialing required to start on time. Delays in compliance may result in a 2-week pushback due to orientation scheduling.
• Orientation hours are non-billable and vary by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment).
• Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies including Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start.

Scheduling and Holidays

• Expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period:

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving/Black Friday
  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day
• If one major holiday occurs, traveler must work it; if two occur, must work both; if three occur, must work two of the three.

Additional Requirements

• Two clinical references required.
• Skills checklist updated within the last 12 months.
• Verification of most recent work history required; can be pending at start with proof it is in process.

Notes

• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
• Prior travel experience is not required.
• The facility may require floating to a nearby hospital within scope of practice.
