Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule: Four 9-hour shifts per week
- One shift from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- One shift from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Alternating days off
- Approximately 10 days of call per month
- Manager open to 4x10 hour shifts (7:30 AM to 6:00 PM)
- Seeking an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician with Neuro experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Current certification from one of the following:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- Neuro experience

- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or vaccination series)
- Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
- Varicella (titer, vaccination, or history of disease)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required year-round
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Two professional references verified within one year of start
- Skills checklist and competency exams required, including medication and EKG/dysrhythmia competency for IR staff
- Orientation and occupational health appointment required prior to start
- Pass/fail testing on medication calculation and EKG at orientation
Work Environment
- Call approximately 10 days per month
- Shift flexibility with potential for 4x10 hour shifts
- Facility requires adherence to specific onboarding and compliance documentation
This position is ideal for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician with neuro experience who holds the necessary Texas state licensure and certifications, and is comfortable with a travel contract assignment in Texas.
