Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Oncology (Days)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa

Job Overview

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• High acuity care environment.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Oncology nursing.
• Required certifications:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS (can be obtained during onboarding)
• Experience administering drips such as Heparin, PCA, epidural (required). Chemotherapy experience if certified.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Required documentation at submission:

  • Work history/resume
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year
  • License verification
  • Copies of required certifications
  • One supervisory reference

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in high acuity care preferred.

Orientation

• Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly (dates available through recruiter).

Additional Information

• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
• Call back and on-call pay available.
• Weekly hours typically 36-40; overtime billable after 40 hours.

Note: This position requires a commitment to a 13-week contract.
