Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Work Schedule
- Approximately 36 hours per week
- Rotating weekends and on-call duties
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Adult ICU, PCU, ER, and general floors
- Number of Beds: 260
- Staff per Shift: Minimum 1 team lead and 2 respiratory therapists on both day and night shifts
- Patient Ratios: 30-45 points
- Equipment Used: GE860 ventilators, Hamilton C1 ventilators, Philips V60 ventilators, EPOC devices
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
- Dress Code: Black scrub pants and olive green scrub shirt
Typical Procedures
- Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis
- Bronchoscopy assistance
- Patient transport
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Experience working with adult patients
