X-Ray Tech Travel/Contract Job - Portland, Oregon
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night (3 shifts per weekend, Friday to Sunday, 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours (3 shifts x 12 hours)
- On-Call: Yes, 3 shifts per month

Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
Compliance & Documentation
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors) with month/year format
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting
- Education verification required for all candidates
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
- Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules required via LMS (Workramp), except for X-Ray Techs who are exempt from regional specialty modules
- WA and OR state-specific background and registry checks as applicable (not required for this facility)
- Float policy acknowledgment required (may be asked to float to nearby facilities)
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be able to work weekends (Friday through Sunday nights) and on-call shifts as specified
- Facility issues radiation badges for applicable units
- Epic training modules required for access (transcripts must be submitted)
- Some certifications and requirements may be waived or adjusted based on clinical track or non-clinical status; verify with credentialing lead if unclear
