Job Opportunity: RN ICU
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Facility Level: Level 1 Trauma Center
Job Requirements
- Must start on or before June 8th
- Commitment to work on both July 4th and Labor Day holidays
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including ICU experience within the last year
- Burn ICU experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- MOAB certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Specialty skills checklist to be completed within one year of start and updated annually
- Badge photo required (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
- Some optional checklists may be required by unit leadership after start
Summary
This is a 13-week ICU RN assignment on a night shift at a Level 1 trauma center in Wichita, Kansas. Candidates must have at least 1 year of ICU experience, current RN licensure, and required certifications including BLS and ACLS. The role requires commitment to holiday shifts and completion of multiple competency exams and onboarding requirements. Immunizations and health screenings must be up to date with no declinations accepted for key vaccines. Background checks, drug screening, and professional references are mandatory.
