Description
Respiratory Therapist (Temp) – Lansing, MI
Job Summary
- Deliver respiratory therapy and patient care according to physician orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards.
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
- Evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy and take corrective actions as needed.
- Educate patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
- Perform routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to respiratory therapy.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ventilator training
- BiPAP training
- ABG trained therapist
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Additional Information
- Experience includes working with general elective surgeries and critical/life-saving procedures.
- No prior travel experience requirement specified.
