Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialist (RRT)
Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Position involves working in a Pre-Screen Unit where clinical fit will be assessed before final approval by management.
- May care for COVID-19 patients.
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
- Weekends every other week (EOW).
- No call or floating requirements.
- Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
Certifications & Competencies
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC) as applicable.
- Other certifications (PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIH Stroke, etc.) as applicable per unit/job description.
- Medication and Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exams required as applicable.
- Pass/Fail testing acknowledgment required for RNs (not applicable here but noted for reference).
Background & Screening Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check required within 30 days of start; updated annually.
- Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required within 1 year of start; must be finalized prior to start.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start.
- Pennsylvania FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days or will be removed from assignment.
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance required within 5 years; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days.
- Education verification of highest degree required.
- Two professional references within 3 years required.
- Most recent resume or employment application required.
- Annual skills checklist required.
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam required within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT.
- Negative QGold or TSpot TB test within 90 days of start (PPD not accepted).
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) required; declination form also required if applicable.
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: Vaccines (2 doses) or positive titer required; specific booster requirements apply if titers are negative or equivocal.
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine required within 10 years of start.
- Seasonal flu vaccine required during flu season or valid medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted).
- COVID-19 vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption or declination accepted.
- Respiratory Safety clearance required within 1 year of start; renew annually.
- Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen required within 1 year (for agency use only, not required by facility).
- Fit testing preferred but not required.
Facility Specific Requirements
- Clear, passport-style photo for badge required.
- Candidate must review and sign facility-specific documents including:
- Commitment to Health & Wellness
- Code of Conduct
- Confidentiality Agreement
- Non-Employee Affidavit
- Hepatitis B declination form (if applicable)
- Safety and Security Vehicle Registration (if applicable)
- Completion of Learning Management System (LMS) modules on PC/laptop prior to start (not on cell phones).
- New hire orientation required by end of first day.

- Candidate must be aware this is a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
- Background and health documentation must include two identifying markers (e.g., full name, DOB, or SSN).
- Candidate may start with some background checks pending (fingerprints, child abuse clearance) but must have results finalized within 45 days or risk removal.
- All certifications and documentation must be verified through primary source online verification.
