Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position
Location: Missoula, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Unit: Diagnostic Imaging
- Shift Schedule:
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Wednesday to Friday: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- On-call: Tuesdays 4:30 PM – 7:00 AM and every 4th Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- Hours per Week: 36
- Work Environment:
- Solo work starting at 5:30 PM
- Unit staffed with 4-6 x-ray techs daily
- Equipment includes GE Proteus, AMX Navigate, Carestream, Delinia, GE OEC 9900
- Documentation systems: PACS (Phillips, Inland Imaging), EMR (Cerner)
- Patient Population: Experience with NICU through geriatric patients
- Procedures Performed:
- Outpatient, emergent, and inpatient imaging
- X-ray, Fluoroscopy, portable X-ray
- C-arm guidance for surgery, ERCP, and pain procedures
- Dress Code: Unit scrubs required when going to OR; personal scrubs allowed otherwise (any color)
- Additional Perks:
- Ability to flex up to 1.0 FTE if desired

Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Montana
- Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (R) Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Geriatric patients
Additional Information
- The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited teaching hospital with a Level 3 NICU and an Accredited Chest Pain Center.
- Formal de-escalation training (e.g., Handle with Care) is relevant for several units including NICU and Pediatrics.
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel position.
