Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray (Nights)

Location: Moline, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12 hours (typically 0645-1515 for day duties, but this posting is for nights)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Operate C-arm in the Operating Room (OR) for approximately 90% of workload.
• Perform general x-rays supporting Emergency Department (ED) patients, Inpatients, and Outpatients when not in the OR.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team contributing clinical knowledge and skills in patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Illinois license for the technologist role and be willing to apply for an Iowa license.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience as a technologist.
• C-arm experience is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must provide:

  • Work history/resume
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
  • License verification
  • Copies of required certifications
  • At least 1 supervisory reference at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Cannot have been employed by this employer within the last 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract is preferred.

Additional Information

• Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly throughout the year.
• The facility is a Level 2 trauma center.
• Typical workweek is 36-40 hours; overtime is billable after 40 hours.
• Pay multipliers apply for overtime, holidays, call back, and on-call hours (details withheld).
