Job Description
- Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
- Patients/scans per day: approximately 4
- Equipment used: Artis Zee c-arm, Impella, IABP, Acist Injector
- Types of procedures: peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, pacemaker procedures
- Hospital provides light blue scrubs
- EMR system: EPIC
- Orientation dates available: June 1 and June 8
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab
- Must have completed at least one prior travel contract within the last 12 months (no first-time travelers)
- Proficient with fluoroscopy
- Comfortable and proficient in peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker procedures
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Driver’s license required
- Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath discipline required
- Professional reference or performance evaluation within the last 24 months preferred
- Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; non-licensed applicants may apply but must obtain license upon offer acceptance
Additional Information
- Employee separation policy restricts past employees of the health system from working travel contracts in other markets within 12 months unless they were travel employees (not full-time or PRN)
