Description
MRI Tech - Radiology
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work in a hospital recognized nationally for clinical quality and patient safety.
- Unit uses GE MRI equipment and Cerner EMR system.
- Typical procedures include MRI with contrast and non-contrast.
- Dress code: Black scrubs.
- Rotating weekends and on-call duties required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- ARRT (MR) Certification.
- BLS Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Breast MRI is preferred.
Unit Information
- Staff on day shift includes approximately 9 team members (e.g., charge tech, RNs, CNAs, sitters).
- Located on the 1st floor at 222 Asheland Ave, Asheville, NC.
Work Hours
- Approximately 36 hours per week.
Additional Notes
- Candidates without MRI registration will not be considered.
- The role requires flexibility for rotating weekends and on-call shifts.
