Job Summary

Seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with critical care experience to work in a hospital respiratory unit. The position involves working with ventilators (BP840) and using the Meditech documentation system. The schedule includes every other weekend coverage with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Unit & Facility Overview

• Unit: Respiratory (Unit 754)
• Patient Ratios: Not applicable
• Staffing: RRTs cover patient load; unit secretaries and techs available
• Equipment: Ventilators (BP840)
• Documentation: Meditech system
• Dress Code: Pewter color solid scrubs required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS
• Critical Care experience required
• Competency assessment for Respiratory Therapists or knowledge regarding USP 800 hazardous drug risks

Scheduling & Policies

• Every other weekend required
• Floating policy: Not applicable
• Unit-specific policies and guidelines apply
