Location: Ocala, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Summary

Seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with critical care experience for a travel assignment in a hospital respiratory unit. The position involves working with ventilators (BP840) and using the Meditech documentation system. The schedule includes every other weekend coverage.

Unit & Facility Information

• Unit: Respiratory (Unit 754)
• Patient Ratios: Not applicable
• Staffing: RRTs cover patient load; unit secretaries and tech availability present
• Equipment: Ventilators (BP840)
• Documentation: Meditech system
• Dress Code: Pewter color solid scrubs required
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Floating Policy: Not applicable
• Critical Care experience is required for patient care on this unit

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Critical Care experience
• Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification

• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
