Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location
- City: Lone Tree, Colorado
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Respiratory Therapy
- Facility size: 240 beds
- Respiratory Therapy staff: 15 RRTs
- Minimum staffing: 3 RRTs on day shift, 3 RRTs on night shift
- Patient load: 30-40 points average per shift
- Equipment: PB 840 ventilators in ICU
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Administer respiratory treatments
- Ventilator setup and management
- Assist with intubation
- Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) sampling
- Patient and staff education
- All respiratory therapy procedures across Emergency Department, Pediatrics, ICU, NICU, Medical, and Surgical units
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Colorado
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- PICU and NICU experience
