Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Assignment

Location: Panama City, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Unit Overview

• Specialty: Respiratory Therapy in a Level 3 NICU setting
• Facility has a 28-bed NICU and is the area's only designated Pediatric ER and Pediatric ICU
• Respiratory Therapy department staffed with approximately 35 members
• Patient ratios vary depending on day and area coverage; teamwork and flexibility expected
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
• Typical equipment includes PB 840 and Dräger ventilators
• Procedures include surfactant delivery and other NICU respiratory care interventions

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with both Adult and Neonate patients
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with PB 840 and Dräger ventilators
• Experience in deliveries involving surfactant administration

Work Environment & Culture

• Team-oriented unit with a collaborative atmosphere
• Possible weekend shifts may be required
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs required
