Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
- Use of EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Orientation available on multiple scheduled dates prior to start.
- Call back and on-call opportunities with additional compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- BLS certification required.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
- Must hold an Iowa license.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- License verification and copy of required certifications.
- One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
- Work history/resume required.
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply (no prior travel experience required).
Additional Information
- Night shift with potential for overtime and holiday pay multipliers.
- Charge and precepting pay available.
- Floating within the same discipline may be required.
- Orientation sessions scheduled from March through November.
This position is ideal for an experienced RN seeking a temporary night shift role in Med Surg/Telemetry with a supportive orientation schedule and opportunities for overtime and additional pay.
