Description
Registered Nurse - Radiology (Travel)
Location: Webster, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Interventional Radiology (IR) Labs (2 beds)
- Staff: 4 RNs and 4 Techs on day shift; night shift is on-call
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: GE, Siemens
- EMR System: Meditech
Job Description
- Perform general Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures
- Work primarily on day shift with on-call rotation for nights
- On-call rotation: approximately 5 days per month plus 1 weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
- Radiology experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience in IR/Specials strongly preferred
- Positive attitude and good teamwork skills
Dress Code
- OR scrubs required
