Description
Physical Therapist Job Opportunity
Location: Pendleton, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Work setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic located within an Athletic club
- Typical patient load: Approximately 12 patients per 10-hour day
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
- Dress code: Business casual (no denim)
- Orientation: Department-specific orientation on Day 1
Patient Population & Experience
- Primarily outpatient orthopedic patients with a variety of diagnoses due to small town setting
- Some acute inpatient experience is helpful but not required
- Outpatient experience is a must
Required Qualifications
- Physical Therapist license for Oregon is required (license does not need to be in hand at time of application)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Additional Information
- No supervisory responsibilities
- Rehab aides available, but no Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) on staff
- Team includes approximately 10 Physical Therapists, 5 Occupational Therapists, and 2 Speech-Language Pathologists
