Job Description

• Assist surgeons and medical professionals in operating rooms and similar environments.
• Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Provide assistance during surgeries as part of the surgical team.
• Surgical services include outpatient and inpatient surgeries for adults and children.
• Surgical specialties involved: Cancer, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecological Surgery, Ophthalmological Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatry Surgery, Urological Surgery.
• Emergency surgeries available 24/7.

• Shift: Days
• Hours per day: 8
• Unit size: 3 OR rooms and 1 Procedure Room
• Patient ratio: 1:1

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
• NBSTSA certification required.

Additional Information

• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
• Nonbillable initial hours: 12 hours.
• Local traveler policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of the facility.
• Overtime, holiday, and callback pay at 1.1x regular rates.
• Extension discount applies to initial extension hours.
