Shift: Days (7a-7p)
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Unit: Acute Care, 36 beds
Patient Types: CHF, COPD, ESRD, Pneumonia, Renal Failure, Sickle Cell Crisis, Orthopedic surgery, Bariatric Surgery, AMS, Sepsis
EMR System: Meditech
Charge Nurse: Yes
Nurse Aides: Yes
Floating: Occasionally
Orientation: Floor-specific, 3 shifts
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holidays: Required
Uniform: White tops, hunter green pants
Telemetry: Yes
Hospitalist: In-house 24/7
Respiratory Therapist: Available 24/7
IV Team: No (may consult PICC team if needed)
Nurse's Read Strips: No
Drips and Vents: Not applicable

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in hospital Med Surg units
BLS (AHA) certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Must comply with a strict 75-mile radius rule from the address on the traveler's driver’s license to the facility
