PACU RN
Location: Espanola, New Mexico
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process during assigned shifts.
- Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed or per protocols, documenting accordingly.
- Identify and address patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout care.
- Supervise LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel clinically.
- Complete patient population, procedure, and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.
- Floating between departments or local locations within 20 miles is required.
Required Qualifications
- Current PACU RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in PACU specialty.
- At least one previous 13-week travel assignment completed (prior travel experience required).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system (training available on-site).
