Description

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical & Emergency Department

Location: Haxtun, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care in Medsurg (inpatient, observation, swing bed), Emergency Department, and Outpatient Infusion settings.
Unit includes 6 Medsurg beds and 3 ER beds.
Common patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, post-operative orthopedic cases, pneumonia, UTI/AMS, and failure to thrive.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Acute Care experience, including experience within the last year
Emergency Department experience
Infusion experience
Certifications required:
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- Procedural Sedation Module

Additional Information

Experience with Athena EMR system preferred.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
