Description
Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical & Emergency Department
Location: Haxtun, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in Medsurg (inpatient, observation, swing bed), Emergency Department, and Outpatient Infusion settings.
- Unit includes 6 Medsurg beds and 3 ER beds.
- Common patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, post-operative orthopedic cases, pneumonia, UTI/AMS, and failure to thrive.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Current RN license for the state of Colorado.
- Certifications required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- AHA Procedural Sedation Module
Additional Information
- Experience with Athena EMR system preferred.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
