Description

Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Location: York, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Schedule & Work Details

  • Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 4 shifts per week, 9 hours each (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • No weekends, no call, no floating
  • Holidays as needed
  • Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
  • May care for COVID-19 patients

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, with at least some experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Experience with Epic

Screening & Hiring Process

  • Clinical screening to determine fit before manager interview
  • Maximum return-to-office (RTO) time: 7 days

Background & Compliance Requirements

  • 7-year criminal background check required within 30 days of start, updated annually
  • Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required within 1 year of start; must be finalized before starting
  • PA FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days or will be removed from assignment
  • Employment and professional references: 2 professional references within last 3 years required
  • Education verification of highest degree required
  • Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug test within 1 year (for agency use only)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP
  • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days; PPD not accepted
  • Vaccinations or positive titers required for:
    • Hepatitis B (full vaccine series or positive titer plus declination form)
    • Rubeola (Measles) – 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters as needed
    • Mumps – 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters as needed
    • Rubella – 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters as needed
    • Varicella – 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters as needed
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
  • Seasonal flu vaccine required during flu season or valid medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
  • COVID-19 vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption/declination accepted
  • Respiratory safety clearance required within 1 year and renewed annually
  • Fit testing preferred but not required

Documentation & Facility Requirements

  • Clear, passport-style photo for badge
  • Completion and signing of facility-specific documents including:
    • Medical Statement Non-Employee Ability to Work
    • Commitment to Health & Wellness
    • Code of Conduct
    • Confidentiality Agreement
    • Non-Employee Affidavit
  • Completion of Learning Management System (LMS) modules on PC/laptop prior to start
  • New hire orientation required by end of first day
