Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehab
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Work Schedule: Full Time
Weekend Requirement: Yes
On Call Requirement: No

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse coordinates and implements patient care tailored to the age and needs of the patient population on assigned units. The role ensures quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards. The nurse demonstrates professionalism, respect, and effective clinical practice aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments and prioritize care based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
- Systematically reassess patients to monitor progress and identify when interventions are needed.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care within established nursing standards.
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes and modify care plans accordingly.
- Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
- Document timely interventions and perform Point of Care testing procedures.
- Demonstrate leadership competencies appropriate to the role.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum of 1 year of rehabilitation nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current BLS certification

- This is a backfill replacement travel assignment.
