Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery RN

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D)
• Night shift position
• Agency staff hours are not guaranteed and may be adjusted based on operational needs
• Possible reassignment or floating to other units or care sites within the health system to maintain contracted hours

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NRP certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

Health and Immunizations

• Fit Test (specific to mask type)
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB as per regional guidelines
• COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster or approved declination/exemption; declination not accepted in CA or IL)
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted
• Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer lab report
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within the last year
• 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (specific drug panel required)
• Optional: Influenza vaccine proof or declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)

Professional and Background Checks

• Resume and skills checklist within the last year
• Two professional references
• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years) including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
• Education verification (highest academic degree or equivalent)
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days
• OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days, including aliases and statewide checks for Michigan if applicable
• Trinity Profile and various signed compliance forms including Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Confidentiality Agreement, Integrity and Audit Services, and System Access Form (to be completed/uploaded before start)
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
• Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year

• Agency staff may be floated to other units or reassigned to maintain hours
• All documentation and certifications must be uploaded to the system prior to or at onboarding as specified
• This position requires adherence to strict compliance and credentialing standards
