Description
Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech
Location
- Towson, Maryland
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour shifts
- Shift Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Every other weekend required (one weekend day on call, either Saturday or Sunday, not both)
- Weekday on-call coverage twice per week (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
- Weekend on-call coverage every other weekend (one day, Saturday or Sunday)
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Floating required within specialty and to other units/facilities within scope
Patient Population
- Adults to Geriatrics
Specialty Details
- Nuclear Medicine Technology with focus on Nuclear Stress Tests (high scan load, outpatient/inpatient), HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, amyloid studies
- Use of GE equipment, SPEC CTG850
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Maryland
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT(N) – Nuclear Medicine Technology certification
- ARRT(R) – Radiography certification
- NMTCB certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
