Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location
- Lewiston, Maine
Assignment Details
- Travel position
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3 twelve-hour shifts per week, self-scheduling)
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Call requirements: Yes
- Unit: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)
- Number of beds on unit: 24
- Patient ratios: 1:6 (census varies from 3 to 24 patients)
- Patient population: Neonates and adults
Unit & Facility Profile
- Trauma Level III
- Equipment used: External Fetal Monitoring (EFM), IV pumps
- Electronic Health Records (EHR): EPIC, Powerchart, Omnicell Medication System
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP)
- Postpartum care experience
- Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS, ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- AWHONN Intermediate certification
- Experience in Level 1 Nursery, Mother/Baby care, and circulating for C-sections

- No first-time travelers accepted for this assignment
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
