Description
Job Opportunity: Rapid Response Technician (Allied)
Location
- Denver, Colorado
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 6 weeks
Work Details
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week
- Candidates will float between two hospital locations
- On-call with a 30-minute response time
- Flexibility required for day and evening hours as needed
Unit Information
- 14 Operating Rooms
- Approximately 70 full-time staff
- Typical patient ratio: 1:1 (estimated)
- Staff includes charge nurses, RNs, surgical technologists, patient care technicians, and trauma team members
- Use of EMR system: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)
- Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR)
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Bentall procedure
- Aortic Dissection repair
Required Qualifications
- Valid CVOR Technologist license in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- DORA certification
- NBSTA certification
- HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
- Knowledge and adherence to Hazardous Drug Risk protocols as defined by USP <800>
