Description
Registered Nurse – ED Clinical Decision Unit
Location: Medford, Oregon
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work in a state-of-the-art Emergency Department, a Level 2 trauma center averaging 130 patients daily.
- Care for patients in a 39-room unit with varying acuity levels (high, moderate/low, psych flex, triage).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and techs to provide efficient and excellent emergency care.
- Stabilize and monitor emergency room patients’ health conditions.
- Educate patients on their current condition and ongoing care needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) experience within the last year
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Experience in acute care settings
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
