Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology (Days)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work with oncology/hematology patients, including care involving Central Venous Access Devices (CVAD).
- Use EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Required to work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Summer holiday work required for 1-2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Not employed by this health system within the last 12 months.

- Work history/resume
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year
- License verification
- Copies of required certifications
- One supervisory reference
Additional Information
- Orientation dates available in late April and May.
- Pay multipliers for overtime, holidays, call back, and on-call hours apply (details not included here).
