Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Johnson, Arkansas

Contract Details

Travel assignment
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Call shifts: 2 per scheduled period
Hours per week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care for Labor and Delivery patients.
Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arkansas
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP

Night shift with weekend and call responsibilities
