    IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - California, Stockton

    Job Details

    • Specialty: IR Tech (Interventional Radiology Technologist)
    • Location: Stockton, California
    • Contract Length: 13 weeks
    • Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (3 shifts per week, 36 hours total)
    • Call Requirements:
      • Call required up to two weekends per month
      • Call schedule from 5pm Friday to 7am Monday
      • One weekday call per week
      • Response time on call: 30 minutes
    • Unit: Cath Lab & IR with 4 procedure rooms
    • Average Cases: 15-20 cases per day
    • Orientation: 1-2 days unit-specific orientation
    • Floating: Not required

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Experience with coronary circulation, balloon pumps, and Impella devices
    • Comfortable working with critically ill patients, including STEMI cases (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction)
    • Experience with peripheral and coronary circulation procedures
    • Fluoroscopy experience required
    • Familiarity with equipment such as laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, IABP, FFR, angiojet is preferred
    • Experience with Merge Hemo system is a plus
    • Experience with Siemens/Phillips cath lab equipment is helpful but not required

    Certifications and Licenses

    • ARRT certification required
    • California CRT license required if ARRT certified
    • BLS certification required
    • Fluoroscopy certification required

    Additional Information

    • Must complete all required training modules prior to arrival; failure to complete will delay start
    • Scrubs provided (teal blue)
    • Cardiologist and respiratory therapist available 24/7 on site or on standby
    • Respiratory therapist present during ventilated cases
    • Pharmacy available 24/7 onsite

    This position is ideal for IR Technologists with strong cath lab experience who are comfortable with high-acuity cases and call responsibilities.
