Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Oncology (Days)

Job Overview

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• High acuity care environment.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Oncology nursing.
• Required certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) – can be obtained during onboarding but required.
• Experience administering drips such as Heparin, PCA, epidural; chemotherapy experience if certified.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Work history/resume.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
• License verification.
• Copy of required certifications.
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.

Orientation

• Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly (dates available upon request).

Additional Information

• Night Bonus: 16 hours.
• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
• Call back and on-call pay available.
• Weekly hours: 36-40 hours standard; overtime billable after 40 hours.
